How do you get a women who has been abused in her past Relationship to like me and trust me?
I have this young women I have been talking with for about 2 months now. She is constantly telling me she has her ‘gaurd up’ and doesn’t ‘know what she wants’. She has told me that she has been hurt alot too. Her ex husband used to hit her all the time and constantly verbally abused her. I feel so bad for her, and at the sametime I know it isn’t my fault and I would never treat any women like that ever. I think she is very attractive, so what shall I do? Is all this worth tring for? Am I going to be walking on egg shells the rest of my life if I get with her?
Be there for her regardless of anything, just be a good friend, a good listener, a trustworthy person and slowly she will open up to you. It takes time, like anything else,but if you think she’s worth it, then time shouldn’t matter, just be a good friend as of now,cause I bet that is exactly what she needs, someone whom she could trust and talk to.
