Relationship Counselling

What is the Relationship of Counselling and psychological research to health psychology?
The underlying correlating principles of philosophy, religion and psychology are based upon the premise of balancing and control of the mind. An understanding is required of the workings of the psychological universal stratosphere and its interrelated affect upon the psyche of individuals predisposed or susceptible to electrically charged currents and force able to affect behavioural patterns through thinking.
Trauma and adverse experience, head injury cause a debilitation of the minds ability to assimilate information and function at optimum resulting in marred thought patterns leading to emotional distress and confusion. The consciousness of each individual varies certain afflictions of the brain cause a distortion of these brain waves and the person becomes unduly aware of matter and neurological lines unnecessary to their mind or imagination. The distress caused and inability to evict such thoughts or control ones focus and attention is a failure in the brain to function adequately.
Counselling allows proper release of pent up pockets of repressed thoughts the person may be unable or ill equipped emotionally to deal with. Counselling assists in confronting these thoughts, emotions, fears and anxieties. The process of counselling itself can be as damaging to the psyche, therefore requiring further research in finding cures and remedies to extricate negative feelings or memories from the subconscious affecting the person’s ability to deal and generally manage in life. New procedures in therapy find alternative cures although the industry requires a period of many sessions prior to releasing the patient, economics being a primary motivator over immediate need for urgent cure.
Plato’s theory of man in his cave tormented by his own shadows seems a common problem with individuals in societies where interaction and communing is reduced by technological advances detrimental to the human Spirit. The mind unable to connect and interact its feelings, withdraws into its own psyche or ‘cave’ where the problems envisaged become overly magnified. This leads to what is seen as social breakdown in cohesion and ability of the individual to function within and as the whole.
A healthy firm and active mind results is a well balanced individual able to readily coexists and be a contributing member of society. Modern society creates modern psychological ills, a lack of socialising, television and isolation resulting in poor or diminished communication and interpersonal skills causing ordinary life’s trials and adversities usually found to be character strengthening to be almost insurmountably difficult in overcoming or escaping. The collective conscious functions upon an individual and a collective plane. Both need to be doctored is found disturbed to allay any adverse outbreaks of anti social behaviour whether in the home or in society.
